Megan Kogan

Megan Kogan is the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Finance at GXG, responsible for driving operational efficiencies in support of GXG’s growth initiatives. Her key areas of focus include culture and talent development, marketing, finance and investment analysis, and process improvement.

Megan leverages her strong process orientation to redefine and accelerate how GXG gets things done. In her first year as COO, Megan built core operational capabilities across finance and accounting, HR, fulfillment, and vendor management from scratch.

She has led several critical initiatives for the company, including implementing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to formalize the quarterly planning process, executing GXG’s rebrand and crafting the company’s first marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, and re-launching the intern program to improve value for both interns and GXG.

She also packaged the process she leveraged in laying the foundation for GXG’s operations to create an interim COO program for GXG Venture companies. She successfully completed the first interim COO role with a medical imaging company in the second half of 2018.

Prior to GXG, Megan worked with Alvarez & Marsal’s Performance Improvement practice. She focused on supply chain and sourcing engagements spanning a variety of industries, including consumer packaged goods, electronics, chemicals, and recycled materials. Through these engagements she developed a strong foundation in people, process, and technology transformation as well as commodity sourcing and spend analytics. Additionally, she has honed these skills internationally during a year-long engagement with a global electronic manufacturer, based primarily in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China.

Megan graduated with highest honors from The Georgia Institute of Technology, with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
