Laura Thornton McIps

Laura Thornton MCIPS currently serves as the Head of Procurement at GXO Logistics, Inc. since November 2025. Previously, Laura held the same position at Wincanton from December 2018 to November 2025, and at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe Ltd. from July 2016 to December 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as Client Relationship Manager (Energy) at Alfa Energy Group and Energy Strategy Manager at The Energy Network. Laura started the career as Renewal Business Team Leader-Energy at Gazprom Marketing & Trading from January 2008 to July 2013. Educationally, Laura is pursuing an MSc in Executive Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University and holds the MCIPS designation from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
