Claudio Oricco

Claudio Oricco has extensive experience in procurement and global sourcing roles. Claudio currently holds the position of Head of Global Direct Procurement & Procurement Excellence at Swarovski. Prior to this, they were Head of Global Direct Procurement at Swarovski and held various roles at General Mills and The Kraft Heinz Company. Claudio also has a significant background in plastic packaging procurement and has worked at Ferrero in different capacities, including Global Sourcing Category Manager and Global Technical Sourcing Manager. Claudio has expertise in supplier management, negotiation, and implementing sourcing strategies. Claudio has also worked on cross-functional teams, supporting R&D and Innovation activities, and overseeing department management and project engineering.

Claudio Oricco began their education at the Technical Institute for Mechanical Industry - San Doemnico Savio, where they obtained a Mechanical Degree from 1995 to 2000. Claudio then enrolled in the Politecnico di Torino, completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from 2000 to 2003. Claudio later pursued a Master of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, from 2004 to 2006 at the same institution. In 2008, they attended the Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus and obtained a Master Diploma in Plastics & Injection Moulding, which they completed in 2010. Finally, in 2015 and 2016, Claudio earned a Diploma in Packaging Technologies from The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining IOM3 - Grantham - UK.
