Tyler Schmalz

Tyler Schmalz is a seasoned data analyst currently serving as a Senior Data Analyst at GXO Logistics, Inc. since January 2024. Previously, Tyler held the position of Data Analyst at Terminal from April 2022 to June 2023, where standardization of analytics procedures and improvements to the Looker environment were key responsibilities. At Edmodo, from April 2019 to April 2022, Tyler developed complex SQL queries and created visualizations using Tableau. Tyler began a career in data analysis after serving as an Autonomous Vehicle Trainer at Aerotek for a brief period in 2019, and earlier worked as a Mathematics Teacher at San Rafael City Schools, where a new curriculum for AP Statistics was developed. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, a Data Science certification from Springboard, and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics from California State University-Sacramento.
