Olena Nikolenko

Olena Nikolenko has worked for four companies since 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Customer Service Representative at Groupon. In 2018, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Polska Akademia Nauk. In 2019, they were an EEG Technician at Robotec.ai. Since 2022, they have been a Junior Data Scientist at Gyfted, where they developed a classification model using Balanced Bagging Classifier on an imbalanced training dataset and performed feature engineering on 100 predictors. Olena also utilized Label Studio to label 8,000+ records, utilized Python and SQL to clean and aggregate over 530,000 unstructured data records from two sources, and created two downstream tasks in PyTorch to evaluate the vectorization results.

Olena Nikolenko has a diverse educational background. Olena began their studies in 2015 at the University of Silesia in Katowice, where they earned a Licentiate degree in Promotional and Crisis Communication in 2018. Olena then attended the University of Warsaw, obtaining a Master's degree in Cognitive science in 2020. Olena is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Data Visualization at the Warsaw University of Technology, and has also taken a course in Linear Algebra at the Projector Institute.
