Ellen Emmerentze Jervell

Ellen Emmerentze Jervell is an experienced journalist and author with a diverse background in various media roles. Currently, Ellen serves as Økonomiansvarlig and Badstumester at Oslo Badstuforening since November 2018, while also contributing as an author for Gyldendal Norsk Forlag, having published works such as "Bra kunst om menn" (2020) and "Fjellfolk" (2018). Ellen previously worked at The Wall Street Journal as a reporter from May 2013 to April 2017, covering Nordic events and contributing to both the Oslo and Frankfurt offices. Additional journalistic experiences include freelance feature writing for VG - Verdens Gang AS, political reporting at The Columbus Dispatch, and cultural journalism at Budstikka Media. Ellen's educational background includes an M.A. in French Language and Literature from the University of Oslo and a B.A. in Journalism from Oslo and Akershus University College, among other qualifications.
