Yequn (Mike) Zhang

Yequn (Mike) Zhang has a long and varied work experience. Yequn (Mike) began their career in 2008 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Harbin Institute of Technology. In 2009, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Arizona. In 2011, they held multiple roles, including Student Leadership Council Member at the Center for Integrated Access Network (NSF Education and Research Center), and Summer Intern at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories. In 2012, they were a Research Intern at NEC Laboratories America. In 2013, they were a Summer Intern at LSI Corporation. In 2015, they became a Senior System Engineer at ClariPhy Communications (acquired by Inphi). From 2017 to 2021, they held multiple roles at Gyrfalcon Technology Inc., including Head of SW and Algorithms, Tech Lead/Manager, AI Algorithms, and Senior Algorithm Engineer. In 2021, they became a Senior CVML Engineer at Amazon.

Yequn (Mike) Zhang received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Microelectronics from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2009, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona in 2014.
