Matthew A. Taylor

Matthew A. Taylor, P.E. is a seasoned professional in geotechnical engineering and dam and levee safety engineering, currently serving as Sr. Principal/Senior Vice President at GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. since June 2025, after holding various leadership positions within the same firm from July 2007 to 2025, including Principal/Senior Vice President and Senior Project Manager. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Geotechnical Engineer at CDM from 2004 to 2007, and Project Manager at The Geotechnical Group, Inc. from 1995 to 2004. Matthew A. Taylor earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, complemented by further education at Harvard University Extension School and Leadership training through the ACEC/MA Odyssey Leadership Program.
