Peter Montagna

Peter Montagna has over 30 years of work experience in the fields of process safety, environmental health, and employee safety. Peter currently holds the position of Director of Global Process Safety and EHS Audits at H.B. Fuller since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Henkel Corporation for 10 years, where they served as the Adhesives Global SHE Audit & Process Safety Head and the Global Adhesives SHE Audit & Assessment Head. Additionally, they were the Director of SHE Assurance for Henkel Corporation in North America. Before their tenure at Henkel, Peter Montagna worked as the Engineering Manager at King Industries, Inc., where they led and directed the Engineering Department for 14 years. Peter also worked at Air Products as the Technical Manager, responsible for process engineering, quality control, and environmental compliance.

Peter Montagna obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in the years 1982-1986. Peter then went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Yale University during the years 1997-2000. Additionally, Peter has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including being a Certified Process Safety Auditor (CPSA) from the Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC®) in 2017, as well as a Certified Safety Professional from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in 2003. Peter has also received certifications in instructional training and environmental auditing from various institutions.
