Marcel Koch

Marcel is a Principal at H.I.G. WhiteHorse in London, where he focuses on providing financing to middle market companies across Europe.

Marcel is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including the origination, underwriting, structuring and execution of both private equity sponsored and non-sponsored transactions.

Marcel has extensive experience investing in the European middle market, covering both credit and equity transactions across a broad range of industries, jurisdictions and risk profiles. Prior to joining H.I.G., Marcel was an analyst in the investment banking division of J.P. Morgan in London, where he worked on several M&A and capital market transactions.

Marcel earned a BSc from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.
