Peter Gaunt

Peter Gaunt currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Credit Platform at H.I.G. Capital since 2022. Prior to this role, Peter was Managing Director in Global Credit Fund Management at The Carlyle Group, where responsibilities included acting as Treasurer and Chief Accounting Officer for TCG BDC, Inc. Peter also held the position of Corporate Controller at Hercules Capital, Inc. and has extensive experience from EY, serving as a Senior Manager in the Assurance Department, where oversight included a range of asset management clients. Earlier career roles include Senior Fund Administrator at Credit Suisse, and progressing through multiple positions at EY, beginning as a Senior Accountant in the Cayman Islands. Peter began his career as a Finance Assistant at Legal and General PLC after earning a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol.
