Vasileios Mingos

Vasileios Mingos has a strong background in the field of cybersecurity. Vasileios currently holds the position of European Operations Director at Health-ISAC since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Eurofins, where they held various roles including Associate Security Operations Director, Senior Security Analysis Manager, Security Intelligence and Threat Hunting Manager, and Senior Security Intelligence Consultant. Mingos started their career at IBM as a Security Intelligence Analyst and later transitioned to become an Advisory IT Security Specialist - Cyber Security Analyst. Vasileios also has experience as an IT Security Specialist at Web Star. Overall, Mingos has a wealth of experience in cybersecurity roles spanning different companies and positions.

Vasileios Mingos attended Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.Th.) from 2007 to 2016, where they pursued a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Vasileios did not graduate with a specific degree.

In addition to their university education, Vasileios has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In September 2019, they obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council. Prior to that, in August 2018, they earned the CySA+ certification from CompTIA. In the same year, they also obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA in May.

In August 2016, Vasileios achieved the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) certification from Cisco. Vasileios also obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) certification from Cisco in July of the same year.

Furthermore, in February 2019, they acquired the ITIL Foundations certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Two years earlier, in February 2021, they obtained the GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) certification from GIAC Certifications. Vasileios also earned the GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) certification from GIAC Certifications in January 2022.

Lastly, their most recent certification is the Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1) certification from Security Blue Team, which they obtained in January 2023.
