John Pruyn, P.E. has worked in various engineering roles since 1999. John began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at International Paper in 1999. John then moved on to the same role at Winpak in 2001. In 2002, they became a Mechanical Engineer at PDG Hightower, where they were involved in the design, build, and fix cycle for inkjet and dye sublimation printing mechanisms, pick and separation devices, and variable pen to paper spacing linkages. In 2003, they took on a similar role at Flextronics, and then a contract position as a Mechanical Engineer at Mobile Technologies Inc. (MTI) in 2012. That same year, they began working as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Simplexity Product Development, Inc., where they worked on miniature precision motion explorations, battery charge controller packaging, automated sauce pump clusters, and architecture and redesign of a personal scanner-printer. In 2010, they moved on to Sr. Mechanical Engineer at XZERES Wind Corp., and then Sr. Mechanical Engineer at PDG Oncore, Inc. in 2005. John is currently a Senior Engineer - Simulation Team Lead at H10 Capital, a position they have held since 2017.

John Pruyn, P.E. completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1996 and then went on to earn their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 1998.
