Asghar Ghorbani

Asghar Ghorbani Ph.D. is an experienced professional in data science and engineering, currently serving as the Lead Solutions Engineer for the DACH region at H2O.ai since July 2020. Prior to this role, Asghar was a Customer Facing Data Scientist at DataRobot from October 2018 to July 2020, and worked as a Data Scientist and Big Data Expert at Volkswagen AG from July 2016 to September 2018. Earlier experience includes a position as a Data Scientist at AutoVision GmbH within Volkswagen, and as a Researcher at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt from October 2009 to July 2015. Asghar also contributed as a Guest Scientist at Technische Universität München and as a Performance Test Analyst at Pezhvak. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
