Jukka Remes

Jukka Remes is a Senior Lecturer in ICT at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences since January 2024, focusing on software solution development and AI. Remes has previously held various leadership roles at Silo AI, including Lead AI Solutions Architect and Head of Expert Development and Community, overseeing technical competence development and team leadership. Prior experience includes positions at IBM as a Cloud Architect and Business Development Executive, as well as research roles at Nokia Technologies and VTT Technical Research Center of Finland. Holding a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Oulu, Remes has contributed to multiple AI and machine learning projects across health, retail, and public sectors.
