Natasha Wright

Counselor at HAART Oakland

Natasha Wright is currently a counselor at HAART. Natasha previously worked as an intern at HomeFirst, formerly EHC LifeBuilders, where they were a case manager for transition age youth in Santa Clara County. Natasha also volunteered with the Peace Corps as an English teacher and trainer at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Gresik, a public Islamic high school in East Java, Indonesia. In addition, they have worked as a mental health counselor and case manager for AACI’s Center for Survivors of Torture Program, predominantly refugees and asylees. Natasha also interned with AACI’s Family and Children Program as a mental health clinician. Prior to that, they were a PIP aide at Pajaro Valley Prevention and Student Assistance.

Natasha Wright has a Master's degree in Social Work from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Reed College.

Natasha Wright reports to Omar Malik, Hayward Lead. They work with Stacy Hampton - SR Counselor, Kathryn Bento - Counselor, and Sara Nevius - Counselor.
