Eyob Hailu

Eyob Hailu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Eyob is currently serving as the Marketing Director at Habesha Breweries since November 2021. Before that, they worked at Diageo, where they held multiple roles, including Head of Marketing from July 2020 to October 2021, Marketing Manager from July 2019 to July 2020, and Consumer Planning & Research Manager from April 2019 to July 2019. Prior to Diageo, Eyob worked at Fonterra as the Marketing Manager from October 2017 to April 2019 and as a Brand Manager from June 2015 to September 2017. Eyob also gained experience at Unilever as a Regional Sales Manager from June 2014 to June 2015 and at Coca-Cola Sabco, where they served as a Regional Sales Manager from June 2013 to June 2014 and as an Area Sales Manager from June 2012 to June 2013. Eyob's early career includes roles at Ethiopian Airlines, where they worked as a Jr. Cargo Sales Representative from August 2011 to May 2012 and as a Customer Service Cargo Agent from January 2008 to August 2011. Additionally, they started their professional journey as a Teacher at Menelik II Secondary and Preparatory School from October 2006 to September 2007.

Eyob Hailu completed the BULLET PROOF® Manager Training Series at CRESTCOM® INTERNATIONAL in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Marketing Management from Addis Ababa University from 2010 to 2012. Eyob'sundergraduate education was at Jimma University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from 2002 to 2006.
