Awais Hassan

Awais Hassan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Awais started their career at National Engineering Services of Pakistan NESPAK in 1991 as an Assistant Project Engineer, working in the Power & Mech Division. In 1994, they joined Faysal Bank as an Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Banking Group. Then in 2000, they joined Habib Bank AG Zurich UAE, where they held the role of Executive Vice President until 2016. From 2016 onwards, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Habib Bank AG Zurich UAE.

Awais Hassan's education history starts in 1972 when they enrolled at St. Anthony's High School in Lahore. Awais completed their GCSE and 'O' Levels in 1982. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore. This program lasted from 1986 to 1990. Following this, Awais went on to attend the Lahore University of Management Sciences, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the field of Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. This program took place from 1992 to 1994.
