Mian Khaliq Ur Rehman

Mian Khaliq Ur Rehman has a solid work experience in the banking and risk management sector. Mian Khaliq currently holds the position of Head - Risk Architecture at Habib Metropolitan Bank since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Bank Alfalah Limited for eight years, where they served as VP - Unit Head - Risk Architecture from September 2013 to June 2021. Before joining Bank Alfalah Limited, Mian Khaliq Ur Rehman worked as a Credit Risk Modeller at RMC Consultants, Islamabad from January 2009 to September 2013. During their time at RMC, they supervised the risk advisory department and was responsible for the development of BASEL-II Advanced Internal Ratings-Based (AIRB) models, including Probability of Default (PD) models for corporate and retail portfolios.

Mian Khaliq Ur Rehman completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Iqra University from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, they also obtained the CFA level-1 certification from the CFA Institute.
