Julie Jester has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Julie started their career as the owner and founder of The Carolina Bagel Company in 1994, where they were responsible for running both the retail and wholesale divisions until 2005. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as the Bookkeeper and Office Manager at Carolina Furniture, handling daily financial transactions and assisting with customer service. In 2008, they joined The Cook's Station as an Operations Manager, overseeing the daily operations and financial transactions of the company until 2015. Since 2015, Julie has been associated with Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County, initially serving as the ReStore Manager and later becoming the Director of Retail Operations. Additionally, they also co-owns and operates Homeowner Helpers, LLC, a company specializing in home and business repairs, since 2015.
Julie Jester attended Southside High School from 1985 to 1987. Following high school, they pursued studies in Business Administration and Management, General at Long Island University in Greenvale, NY from 1987 to 1988.
