Director Of Community And Volunteer Engagement at Habitat for Humanity of Wake County

Christin Murphy has a wide range of experience in community and volunteer engagement. Christin initially worked as the Coordinator of Member Relations at the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce from 2002 to 2005. From there, they moved on to the Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines, where they held roles as the Membership Director and then as the Adult Learning Director from 2005 to 2015. Since 2016, Christin has been with Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, starting as the Community and Volunteer Engagement Manager and currently serving as the Director of Community and Volunteer Engagement. In their current role, they focus on developing relationships with organizations and individuals to recruit and retain volunteers, as well as overseeing community relations efforts in Johnston County.
