Amy Dunham

Chief Communications Officer at Habitat for Humanity

Amy Dunham is the current Chief Communications Officer at Habitat for Humanity. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Strada Education Network from June 2019 to December 2021. From March 2015 to April 2017, they were a member of the board for Trusted Mentors. From July 2011 to June 2019, they served as the Managing Director of Strategic Communications for the NCAA. From October 2007 to July 2011, they served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Her final previous position was as the Regional Public Affairs Manager for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) from February 2006 to October 2007. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing proactive media and public relations programs to maximize visibility and maintain a favorable public image of the organization's services and initiatives. Amy also served as a spokesperson for a six-state region that includes the nation's highest concentration of large airports, transit systems, and cargo ports.

Amy Dunham has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/French Language and Culture from Wake Forest University.
