Megan Young

Megan Young is an experienced organizational development consultant currently with Habitat for Humanity International, providing training and technical assistance to affiliates receiving capacity building funding. Previously, Megan held various roles within the Habitat AmeriCorps program, including lead recruiter and constituent engagement specialist, where responsibilities included connecting service-oriented individuals with affiliates and managing compliance for AmeriCorps members across numerous host sites. Prior experience includes serving as Program Director at Red River Community Corps, where program focus included academic engagement and food security, and as Events Coordinator for Standing Together Against Rape, Inc., achieving significant fundraising success. Early career roles involved managing a ReStore for Habitat for Humanity of Baldwin County, as well as a Patient Account Representative in a medical practice. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Capella University and a Bachelor of Arts from Lake Forest College.
