Rick Nidel

Rick Nidel currently serves as the Senior Director of Global Safety, Security, and Safeguarding at Habitat for Humanity International since July 2023. Nidel also leads Project Management Training at the American Red Cross, developing a nationwide training program for managers that aligns with Project Management Institute standards. Previously, Nidel held various leadership roles, including Director of Global Operations and Portfolio Management at International Justice Mission, where engagement with local partners focused on refugee protection, and Interim Director for the Ukraine Crisis Response. Nidel's extensive consulting experience includes positions at Eureka Idea Co and Nidel and Associates, specializing in management solutions for international operations. Academic credentials include an MBA in International Finance and Project Management from the University of Maryland and a BA in Russian Studies from the University of Virginia.
