Alison Lazarus

Alison Lazarus is the EVP, Group Sales Director for the Hachette Book Group. She oversees sales in all formats of HBG and client publisher books to all customers both domestic and international. Previously she was at Macmillan Publishers for 20 years where among a range of responsibilities she oversaw sales to all customers for all formats as well as the Macmillan Audio division. Prior to Macmillan she was an SVP, Sales at Random House.

Alison is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton, with a degree in English Literature. She has taught at the NYU Masters in Publishing Program and is currently a Board Member of the UJA Publishing Division.

She lives in Westchester, is married to an anesthesiologist and has two sons.
