Nana K. Twumasi

Nana K. Twumasi has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Nana K. most recently worked at Hachette Book Group as the VP, Publisher for GCP Balance. Prior to this, they held various roles such as a Freelance Writer, where they developed content for publications focusing on fashion and style with an emphasis on ethics, sustainability, and diversity. Nana K. also edited books for publishers like Berrett-Koehler, John Wiley & Sons, and McSweeney's. Nana has also worked at Callisto Media as an Executive Editor and Managing Editor, where they interpreted data to create and edit books in the psychology/self-help, new age, and Christian genres. In addition, they developed a self-help/trade psychology publishing program. Nana's previous experiences include working as a co-editor for Monday Night, a literary journal where they selected and edited prose pieces, organized literary events, and managed the publication's website. Nana K. Twumasi obtained a B.A. in English, Creative Writing from Oberlin College between 1998 and 2002. Later, they pursued an MFA in Creative Writing at the California College of the Arts from 2005 to 2007.
