Burak Orhun

Mr. Burak Orhun graduated from Boğaziçi University Economy department and received his master’s degree in Finance from George Washington University and MBA degree from University of Pennsylvania – Wharton School of Business. Mr. Burak Orhun started his career at Mercedes Benz Türk as a Financial, after which he worked in United States at Thomson Corporation/Reuters, CapitalOne Financial and CadenceQuest, Inc, respectively, at various management positions such as Finance Manager, Director of Portfolio Management, Director of Corporate Development and CFO, respectively. Before joining Sabancı Group, Mr. Burak Orhun, worked at Oyak Group, responsible for all M&A and new investments activities of the Group from 2009 to 2018. He was the General Manager of Oyak Girişim Danışmanlığı A.Ş., while having executive management, board member and chairman roles at chemical and energy companies of the Group, both domestic and global. Mr. Burak Orhun joined Sabancı Group in 2018 as Head of Sabancı Holding Strategy and Business Development. Mr. Burak Orhun is currently The President of Building Materials of Sabancı Holding.
