Abd El Rahman Amin

Abd El Rahman Amin has work experience as a Network Security Researcher at Hack The Box since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Over Seas [ Ricoh Official Partner ] as a Technical Support Engineer from January 2013 to the present. In this role, they were responsible for hardware technical maintenance, software troubleshooting, managing and monitoring computer systems, as well as creating access control group policies, roles, and privileges.

Abd El Rahman Amin completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a specialization in Accounting and Computer Science from Cairo University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications related to network security and cybersecurity. These certifications include Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 4: Certified Professional from Fortinet, obtained in March 2022, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco, obtained in September 2021. Abd El Rahman Amin also holds certifications in Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate and Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate, both obtained in October 2021. Furthermore, they have completed an introductory course in cybersecurity offered by Cisco in October 2021.
