Panagiotis Apostolopoulos

Panagiotis Apostolopoulos began their work experience in 2017 at OPAP, where they worked as an OPAP Agency. Panagiotis then joined Hack The Box in 2021 as an Analytics Intern, where they gained experience in the ELT process, SQL, and basic data team processes. Panagiotis later transitioned to the role of Data Engineer I, where they worked closely with a Senior Data Engineer and maintained/upgraded data pipelines using Prefect and Python. Afterwards, they became an Analytics Engineer I, collaborating closely with Data Analysts, creating and maintaining data models, and generating reports for the Product/Marketing team. Currently, Panagiotis holds the position of Analytics Engineer II at Hack The Box.

Panagiotis Apostolopoulos attended the University of Piraeus from 2017 to 2021, where they earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications in various fields. These include "Business Analysis Foundations" and "Data Engineering Foundations" from LinkedIn, "Getting Started with Python for Finance" from LinkedIn, "Product Analytics Certification" from Pendo.io, "Learning SnowflakeDB" from LinkedIn, "Apache Kafka Fundamentals," "Apache Spark Fundamentals," "Data Engineering on Azure," "Data Engineering on Databricks," "Log Analysis with Elasticsearch," "MongoDB Fundamentals," and "Snowflake for Data Engineers" from Learn Data Engineering. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in "Airflow Workflow Orchestration," "Building APIs with FastAPI," "Choosing Data Stores," "Schema Design Data Stores," "Data Platform and Pipeline Design," "Platform & Pipelines Security," "Docker Fundamentals," and "Python for Data Engineers" from Learn Data Engineering.

These certifications reflect their continuous efforts to expand their knowledge and skills in related fields.
