Sandra Powell-Elliott

Sandra Powell-Elliott is a seasoned healthcare executive currently serving as the Chief Innovation and Commercialization Officer and Vice President of Life Sciences and Innovation at Hackensack Meridian Health since June 2016. In these roles, Sandra is responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies and fostering a culture of innovation to improve care delivery and outcomes. Sandra has also held advisory positions at the New Jersey Economic Development Authority Biosciences Center Incubator and the New Jersey Innovation Institute, and served on the Board of Advisors for Montclair State University. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Meridian Health, where responsibilities encompassed consumer products and service development, and as President and CEO of Growth, Inc., a healthcare consulting firm. Sandra holds an MBA from Monmouth University and a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
