Carol Rong is an accomplished student and emerging leader with diverse experience in neuroscience, technology, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Co-Chair for the Synapse Conference, Rong is responsible for leading a team of over 25 individuals to organize the largest neuroscience conference for high school students in the Greater Toronto Area. As a National Ambassador for Hackergal, advocacy for diversity and inclusion in Canada's tech industry is a priority. Rong's research experience includes a student internship at the Krembil Research Institute focused on computational neuroscience, alongside a role as a Student Apprentice at Creative Destruction Lab. Additionally, Carol founded Carol's Crafty Corner Co and participated in the Explore Fellowship at Impact Labs and as a Student Innovator at The Knowledge Society. Education includes attendance at Havergal College and Richmond Hill Montessori School.
