Ian Creager

Associate Director of Admissions Operations at HackerU

Ian Creager has a diverse work experience spanning a range of roles in admissions, enrollment, operations, and management. Ian currently works as a National Admissions Advisor at ThriveDX, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, Ian was with HackerU from 2020-2022, where they held positions as Associate Director of Admissions Operations and Senior Enrollment Advisor. Ian was responsible for recruitment and retention of students into Cyber Security and IT training bootcamp programs, partnering with various universities.

From 2018 to 2020, Ian worked as an Enrollment Counselor at Colorado State University Global. In 2016, they served as the Director of Call Center (Bilingual) at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where they led the planning and launch of a new call center to improve admissions and student services. Ian also worked as an Independent Consultant at CECU, where they assisted in extracting and organizing program completion data for U.S. institutions.

In 2015, Ian held various roles at Heritage College & Heritage Institute, including Senior Business Analyst, Director of Admissions, and Director of Contact Center. Ian implemented improvements in admissions and student services, including enhanced lead screening, appointment setting, and performance management.

Prior to that, Ian was the Senior Director of Operations at National University College from 2011-2014, leading and managing staff and driving strategic projects for growth and student retention. Ian also served as the Director of Operations at Profesiones sin Barreras from 2007-2010, overseeing day-to-day operations and managing sales teams.

Ian's early career includes roles at Jones International University from 2001 to 2007, including Enrollment Center Supervisor and International Admissions Counselor. Ian excelled in generating student enrollments, collaborating with senior leadership, and developing marketing strategies.

Ian Creager attended Colorado College from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Spanish Language and Literature. Later, in 2006, they enrolled at Jones International University and continued their education until 2007. Ian pursued an MBA in progress with a focus on Global Enterprise Management.
