Head of Brand & Communications/Regional Hackathons at Hacklab Foundation

Emmanuel Bruce has worked in various roles in the marketing industry since 2018. Emmanuel began as a Client Relationship Manager & Digital Strategist (Junior) at Thirdlaw, where they built and maintained relationships with clients, identified potential clients and opportunities for further sales, and brainstormed marketing trends. In 2019, they became a Brand Marketing Specialist at Pearly Gate Gardens, where they led their rebrand strategy, managed all facets of their social media platforms, and refreshed their visual identity and website. Emmanuel also worked as a Social Media Consultant for Ghana National Gas Company Limited and a Community Manager for Ostec IT. In 2020, they were hired as a Digital Strategist at Brand Surge Marketing, where they developed strategies that align with the client's business and marketing goals, oversaw the management of accounts of the agency's top clients, and generated and analyzed analytics on accounts. In 2021, they were hired as the Head of Brand & Communications/Regional Hackathons at Hacklab Foundation, where they developed a blueprint for comms execution across every country for the hackathons, led and coordinated vendors and partners, and generated over 800 leads for the 2022 Nigeria hackathon. Emmanuel also held roles as Head of Production and Ag. Head Of Brands & Communications. In 2022, they were hired as a Marketing Specialist at Proceipt and a Brand Marketing Consultant at Mooove Africa, where they assisted in the recruitment process for a marketing executive, trained and guided a marketing executive, and ideated and consulted on strategy for the brand's expansion in operations and awareness.

Emmanuel Bruce has a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Ghana Communication Technology University, which they obtained between 2014 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a WASSCE in Computer Science from Adisadel College between 2011 and 2014. Emmanuel has also obtained several certifications, including Sports Marketing and Sports Marketing Essentials from Coursera in January 2023, Shane Snow on Storytelling from LinkedIn in August 2021, Social Media Marketing: ROI from LinkedIn in March 2019, Writing a Marketing Plan from LinkedIn in March 2019, and LinkedIn Marketing Strategy from LinkedIn in August 2021.
