David Orkin, CPA

David Orkin, CPA has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, starting with their role as an Experienced Manager of Audit at Arthur Andersen. David then moved to PwC, where they served as a Senior Manager of Assurance and Business Advisory, delivering assurance services to alternative investment funds and registered investment companies. David then joined Oaktree Capital Management as the Managing Director of Accounting and Operations for over a decade, where they served as the fund CFO for Private Equity, Real Assets, and Private and Alternative Credit. In 2020, they moved on to Wolverton Capital to work as an Investment Operations Consultant, and then to their current position as Chief Financial Officer at Hackman Capital Partners, where they oversee accounting, financial reporting, and tax for all company-managed properties and funds.

David Orkin, CPA earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. David is also a Certified Public Accountant with an active license obtained from the California Board of Accountancy in February 2022.
