Tom Sasse is an experienced public policy editor currently serving at The Economist since July 2023. In addition to this role, Tom is a trustee at the Hackney Migrant Centre since May 2022. Previously, Tom held the position of associate director at the Institute for Government from September 2017 to June 2023 and worked as a consultant for the Open Data Institute from April 2016 to August 2017. Earlier in the career, Tom served as a research assistant at the Reform Think Tank from September 2015 to March 2016. Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and History from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
