Chaim Lotan is a prominent physician specializing in cardiology, currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center since January 2022 and as the Director of the Heart Institute since September 2000. With extensive expertise in clinical cardiology, stents, aortic stenosis, cardiac catheterization, and valve replacement by catheterization, Chaim holds the David and Rose Orzen Chair in Cardiology and is a Professor of Medicine.
