Chaim Lotan

Chaim Lotan is a prominent physician specializing in cardiology, currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center since January 2022 and as the Director of the Heart Institute since September 2000. With extensive expertise in clinical cardiology, stents, aortic stenosis, cardiac catheterization, and valve replacement by catheterization, Chaim holds the David and Rose Orzen Chair in Cardiology and is a Professor of Medicine. Chaim has been involved with the ICI Meeting as Co-Course Director since 2006, contributing to innovations in cardiovascular systems. Additionally, Chaim has served on various international faculties, held leadership roles in the Israel Heart Society, and has an extensive educational background including a sabbatical at Stanford University and fellowships at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
