Partha Chakraborti

Partha Chakraborti has over 20 years of experience in various finance and operations roles. Partha started their career in 1997 with IFB Industries, Shaw Wallance, Scope International, and CitiCorp Group, where they held multiple managerial roles within the Accounts, Finance, and Commercial department. During this time, they were involved in finance and accounts structuring, operational process, control, and working capital management. Partha also led business plan development, budgeting, and commercial negotiations with international vendors.

In 2009, Chakraborti joined WATERHEALTH INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED as a Director of Finance, where they focused on cash flow generation, EBIDTA augmentation, and debt restructuring. Partha successfully obtained funding of USD 15 million from financing institutions.

From 2010 to 2012, Chakraborti worked as the Vice President of Finance for Hamilton Housewares Private Limited - India. Here, they raised funds of $40 million and managed a business size of $100 million, demonstrating a yearly growth rate of 25%. Partha also executed profit improvement and cost control initiatives, resulting in savings of more than $5.5 million.

Since 2012, Chakraborti has been working at Hafele India Private Limited as the Director of Finance and Operations for South Asia, as well as the P&L Head for Bangladesh. In this role, they manage overall operations for Bangladesh operations, including P&L management, strategy formulation, sales and marketing operations, logistics, compliances, and team management. Partha has developed and implemented strategies to meet investor, consumer, and employee needs, and formulates sales and marketing strategies in various channels.

Partha attended St. Xavier's College Kolkata from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained their B.Com (Hons) degree in Commerce. Following that, from 1993 to 1996, they studied at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and obtained a degree in Chartered Accountancy (CA), specializing in Charterted Accountancy. During the same period, they also attended the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, where they obtained a degree in Cost & Management Accountancy.

In 2014, Partha participated in the "Maximize Your Leadership Potential" workshop at The Wharton School. Two years later, in 2016, they completed the Advanced Management Programme at The Wharton School, which is associated with the University of Pennsylvania.
