Anders Østby

Anders Østby has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Anders has been working at Hafslund since 2022, starting as the Director and later becoming the Direktør Kraftmarked. Prior to that, they worked at Hafslund E-CO as the Konserndirektør Kraftmarked since 2018. Anders also held the position of Senior Vice President Production at Hafslund ASA from 2011 to 2018. Additionally, they served as the Chairman of Glommens Brukseierforening from 2011 to 2017 and as a Board Member of Glommen og Laagens brukseierforening from 2009 to 2017. Anders Østby has also gained experience as a Board Member at Hafslund Varme and Biowood Norway AS. Anders started their career at Hafslund Operatør AS and Hafslund Nett AS, where they held various roles including Direktør Nettutbygging, Avdelingsleder Plan, Prosjektleder/Byggherrerepresentant, and Koordinator Driftssentralen.

Anders Østby has a diverse education history. Anders first attended Høyskolen i Oslo from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniør Elkraft. Later, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued further studies at Heriot-Watt University. However, the specific degree and field of study during this period are not specified. Returning to BI Norwegian Business School, Østby completed a Master of Management program with a specialization in Finansiell Strategi from 2014 to 2015. In 2018, they attended BI Norwegian Business School again, this time completing a Master of Management program focused on Project Management.
