Kaia Furnes

Kaia Furnes has a diverse work experience in the energy and consulting industries. Kaia started their career in 2013 as a Summer Intern at Accenture, where they worked on a project focused on sustainable fish farming in Norway. In 2014, they joined Accenture as a Business Strategy Analyst and later became a Business Strategy Consultant, serving clients in various industries. In 2019, Kaia joined Hafslund Eco, a prominent energy and infrastructure group in Norway. Kaia initially worked as a Group Strategic Advisor and Business Developer, where they were involved in developing future energy solutions and partnering with start-ups. Later, they became the Discipline Lead Innovation, responsible for leading innovation initiatives within the company. Currently, Kaia holds the position of Head of Business Development at Hafslund Eco.

Kaia Furnes completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between the years 2008 and 2014. In 2012, they participated in an exchange program at UNSW. Furthermore, in 2010 and 2011, they studied at the University of Buenos Aires as part of an exchange program from NTNU.
