Paul started their career as a Software Engineer at Deltek Systems - Saleskit Software in 1996, where they primarily focused on coding and developing ActiveX COM DLL components for applications using Sequel Server and Oracle. Paul gained experience in GUI/Presentation and Business tiers.

In 2003, Paul Leinweber worked as a Senior Software Engineer/Consultant at Von Hoffmann Press. Paul'smain responsibility was leading the development of an application called Estimating Workplace, which was used for data entry and tracking information. Paul coded it to be an ActiveX component for use within MS Excel using VBA.

Since 2004, they have been working at Hagerman & Company as a Systems Consultant/Software Engineering. Here, they are involved in project scoping, requirements gathering, software development, training, and mentoring. Paul has gained technical writing experience in various areas, including project scope reports, consulting services proposals, and application requirement gathering specifications.

Paul Leinweber completed an Associates of Arts degree in General Studies at St. Louis Community College from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1989, they attended Rock Valley College where they studied CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician, although they did not complete a degree at that institution.
