Rick France has a diverse work experience spanning across several companies. Rick began their career as a CAD Designer & Programmer at Hydro-Chem in 1987, where they specialized in CAD customizing and development for hydrogen and nitrogen plants. Rick then moved on to Von Roll, Inc. in 1989, where they served as a CAD Design Supervisor and was responsible for managing the CAD design department and overseeing waste incineration systems and boiler systems.

In 1994, Rick became the President of Selah Technical Services, a division of Selah/Nikao, Inc. Here, they handled design engineering, sales, scheduling, estimating, and CAD customizing and development. Rick also ventured into web design and worked on various waste incinerator projects, including kilns, ducts, tanks, and pollution control equipment.

In 2001, Rick joined AE&E - Von Roll, Inc. as a Design Supervisor/MIS/IT Manager. Rick managed the design engineering department, including hiring, scheduling, checking, and estimating. Additionally, they oversaw CAD system development and programming for waste incineration systems and boiler systems. Their expertise extended to mechanical, electrical, and structural aspects of the projects.

Rick moved to Applied Software in 2006 as a Senior Application Specialist. In this role, they provided training and technical support for various Autodesk software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, and Plant 3D. Rick also served as a subject matter expert for training manuals.

Finally, in 2010, Rick joined Hagerman & Company as a Senior Solutions Engineer. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing training programs for Autodesk software at various skill levels. Rick provided customer support and conducted product demonstrations for different software applications.

Throughout their career, Rick has gained several certifications in Autodesk software, making him a highly skilled professional in both manufacturing and AEC industries.

Rick France attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Computer Science. Rick did not obtain a degree during this period. In 2017, they obtained an AutoCAD Certified Professional certification from Autodesk Reality Capture.
