Amir Shmul

Amir Shmul currently serves as the System Architect Team Lead at Hailo, where responsibilities include leading the Neural-Networks-Core system and architecture team since February 2018. Prior to this role, Amir held the position of ASIC architect and design leader at Hailo, focusing on AI Neural-network core development. Amir's experience in ASIC design spans prominent companies such as Samsung Electronics, where a role as Senior ASIC Design Engineer was held from June 2017 to February 2018, and Qualcomm, where Amir advanced from an ASIC Design Engineer Student to a Senior Engineer and Team Lead from August 2010 to June 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Tel Aviv University, ongoing since 2017, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, completed in 2013.
