Andrew Ditto

Dr. Ditto is an experienced pharmaceutical and medical device developer with over 20 years of experience in biomedical research and development. He has lead teams and R&D departments for the development and commercialization of pharmaceutics and medical devices including 5 510(k) clearances and 4 product launches over the past 7 years. Dr. Ditto has a decade of experience with targeted nanoparticle development, pharmaceutical development experience with investigational new drug (IND) packet studies, and over 7 years of management in the healthcare product industry. Dr. Ditto has experience in lyophilized emulsions and nanoprecipitation synthesized nanoparticles, bioconjugated peptides for cellular targeting, and performed animal pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) studies for both inhalable and injectable administrations. From a regulatory and quality standpoint, he has a decade of working within quality control and quality assurance environment for the manufacturing of healthcare products. As a researcher, Dr. Ditto has authored 10 scientific publications including 5 first authorship. As an innovator, he also has 3 published patent applications and 7 provisional patents. In addition, Dr. Ditto has experience leading business development including collaborations between academia and industry, leading cross-functional teams between companies, and creating partnerships with customers.
