Katie Skau

Katie Skau has worked as a Visual Designer at Hairstory since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Illustrator and Designer under their own brand, Katie Skau Illustration, starting in 2012. In between, they worked as a Visual Designer at Hullabalu from 2015 to 2016, and at Amplify Education from 2012 to 2015, where they designed custom headers and created illustrations for iPad-based software. Katie also worked at Macy's as a Freelance Visual Merchandising and Display professional in 2012, and as a Visual Display Intern at Barneys New York in 2011. Katie was also a Design Intern at Judy Ross Textiles Inc. in 2011, where they assisted in the New York Gift Show and worked on trend packets and mood boards.

Katie Skau graduated with a BFA degree in Illustration/ Communications Design from Pratt Institute in 2012. Prior to attending college, they went to William H Hall High School; however, no information is provided regarding their degree or field of study.
