James Algate

James Algate brings more than 25 years of experience to the global hospitality company, Hakkasan Group. Serving as the Executive Vice President of Entertainment, James is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with high-profile talent, structuring and executing artist residencies, and leveraging the brand portfolio to attract emerging acts. Overseeing global talent booking for all of Hakkasan Group’s daylife and nightlife entities, James has helped successfully launch Las Vegas residencies for a roster of globally recognized artists including Calvin Harris, Tiësto, Zedd, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix and many more.

In addition to his artist and talent responsibilities, James oversees global marketing strategies including branding, web design and development, online and traditional advertising, public relations, and creative design for all 35+ restaurant, nightclub and dayclub venues within the portfolio including the group’s own corporate brand and marketing efforts. In addition, he also manages the creative design direction for all new venue’s interior and architectural design and development.

He is one of the founding members of Angel Music Group, the company behind some of the most prominent electronic music events around the globe and home to international brands such as GlobalGathering and Godskitchen. In 2013, James relocated to Las Vegas from the United Kingdom to join Hakkasan Group.
