Matthew Lawrence

Matthew Lawrence is an experienced professional in data governance and analytics, currently serving as the Data Governance Lead at Hakkoda since September 2022. Previously, Matthew managed the Data Governance team at Shipt, where responsibilities included developing solutions for data cataloging, lineage, stewardship, and quality. A former Data Scientist at Command Alkon, Matthew contributed to strategies for data acquisition and analytics, while at Slalom Consulting, numerous advanced analytics projects were executed for high-profile clients across various industries. Matthew holds an MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics from the University of Alabama's Manderson Graduate School of Business, and a BA in Economics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Additional educational background includes training in SAS and early studies at the Alabama School of Fine Arts.
