Assia Hamdi

Assia Hamdi has a diverse work experience, having held a variety of roles since 2018. Assia began as a Freelance Writer for Halal Trip Info in 2018, followed by a Private Tutor for Titanium Tutors in 2019, a Private Household Staff for a Private Family in 2019, and a Personal Assistant for Mabrouka Sugaring in 2019. In 2020, they were an Editor for themuslimwomentimes and a Content Writer for HalalBooking. In 2021, they were a Gcse English Tutor for MAT Recruitment and a Communications Consultant for Halal Holiday Check. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Web and Communications Officer for Alwaleed Centre for the Study of Islam in the Contemporary World and an Enrolment Temp for Westminster Kingsway College.

Assia Hamdi obtained their Alevels and Gcse from Burntwood academy between 2011 and 2016. In 2014, they also obtained a Functional Skills certification from AQA. Assia then attended SOAS University of London from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a degree in Assia'story and Arabic from the Humanities/Humanistic Studies field. In 2017, they obtained certifications in Acupressure Massage, Indian Head Massage, and Limbs Massage from Gateway Workshops LTD and Holistic Training. Assia also completed a 140 hour course in TEFL from TEFL Cambridge Course. Currently, they are studying for a Globalised Muslim World, The Msc degree at The University of Edinburgh in International/Global Studies, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
