Patryk Szafran

Patryk Szafran is a highly experienced chemical engineer currently serving as Lead Process Engineer at Topsoe since June 2024. Prior to this role, Patryk worked as a Senior Process Engineer at DIS - CREADIS Engineering Solutions & Consulting from February 2022 to June 2024 and as a Process Technologist at GEA Group from January 2021 to February 2022. From April 2017 to January 2021, Patryk served as a Senior Technical Service Engineer at Haldor Topsoe A/S, where responsibilities included post-commissioning support for WSA/SNOX(TM) sulphuric acid plants, performance assessment, site inspections, and maintenance planning. Patryk's career began at Sasol as a Process Engineer from January 2012 to March 2017, focusing on supporting daily operations at the Secunda synthetic fuels complex and implementing sustainable performance improvements. Patryk holds a Bachelor of Science (Eng) in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, obtained between 2008 and 2011, and completed secondary education at Parktown Boys' High School from 2003 to 2007.
