Sheryl Tan

Sheryl Tan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in medical affairs and research within the healthcare industry. Currently serving as the Senior R&D Director and Region Medical & Scientific Affairs Head for Wider Asia at Haleon since July 2022, Sheryl previously held prominent roles at Bayer from May 2017 to July 2022, including Senior Medical Director, Global Head of Science Activations, and Regional Medical Head for Consumer Health in APAC, where responsibilities encompassed a wide range of countries and the leadership of substantial teams. Sheryl’s significant contributions to Bayer included driving continuous business growth in the ASEAN region and pioneering initiatives in Real-World Data Generation. Earlier career experiences include positions at GSK and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National University of Singapore, where Sheryl led research in lung diseases and contributed to multiple publications. Sheryl holds a Ph.D. in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the National University of Singapore and has completed executive programs at the University of Oxford and IMD.
