Ana Chavez

Ana Chavez has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ana started their career as an intern at Dallas County Court in 2012 and also worked as a cashier at Target during the same year. In 2013, Ana worked as a consultant at the US Department of Transportation, specializing in transportation-related projects. Ana later interned at Phillips/May Corporation in 2014 and at the Texas Department of Transportation in 2015 as an Engineer Tech. Ana then worked as a Front Desk Agent at Best Western® Hotels & Resorts from 2016 to 2018. Ana gained further experience as an intern at TCEQ in 2018. Ana pursued their education and completed their graduate studies at Texas Tech University from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Graduate Civil Engineer at Halff Associates, starting from May 2021 onwards.

Ana Chavez completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Natural Resource Management at Texas Tech University in 2019. Before that, from 2011 to 2014, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree from Eastfield College. In 2020 and 2021, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Water Resources Engineering at Texas Tech University - Edward E. Whitacre, Jr. College of Engineering. Additionally, Ana Chavez obtained certifications in Responsible Scholarship for Engineers from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in April 2021, and in Conflict of Interest from the same institution in November 2020.
